Linda 917 is a Brooklyn-based ensemble led by Swedish experimental singer/songwriter Alicia Lindberg. Together, the ensemble consisting of Alicia Lindberg on vocal effects & synthesizers, Isaac Grossman on piano, Yali Shimoni on drums, and Liam Hastings on double bass, explores new textural combinations through the pairing of composed material, electronic elements, and free improvisation. This unique combination places the Linda 917 project at the forefront of modern jazz and improvised music.
